Description
Breast tomosynthesis is an evolution of digital mammography that generates three-dimensional images of the breast through multiple low-dose projections. It allows detection of lesions hidden in dense breasts and significantly reduces recall rates due to false positives.

Preparation
Do not apply deodorant, creams or talcum powder in the armpit and breast area on the day of the test. Bring previous studies if you have them.
