Diagnostic Test
Urological Ultrasound
Description
Urological ultrasound evaluates the kidneys and bladder, and can identify indirect signs of ureteral involvement such as urinary tract dilation (normal, non-dilated ureters are not usually clearly visible on ultrasound). It is useful for detecting kidney stones, renal cysts, obstructions and other urinary tract disorders.
